Animas

The rivers and streams of the Rock Mountains are woven into my soul; it is here that I feel most at home. The small gray ouzel cheerfully darts through these waters like a bright silver thread connecting it all. They seem to be the very spirit of the wild waters, the soul, the true “Animas” of a river. They are a reminder that sometimes what is most precious is not always large or showy, but that which is most alive.
