"Portrait of Naiomi Glasses - Contemporary weaver, jeweler, spokesperson and skateboard phenomenon. This painting was modeled after a photo taken by Naiomi Glasses' brother TY. She and her brother live together with her family within the Navajo Nation. Naiomi has been skateboarding as well weaving since she was young. The weaving design in the background depicts Spiderwoman, who first introduced the art of weaving to her people. Painted in my studio in Prescott AZ. During the time of Covid-19." - Karen Clarkson
