My work explores the relationship between nature and emotion. There is often an emphasis on movement, composition and visual texture. I am inspired by modern culture, nature, meditation and microeconomics.

Someone once told me I was spoon-fed art as a child, this is true. I’m the fourth generation of the only female painting dynasty on my maternal side, and the daughter of a fine art custom picture framer and artist on my paternal side.

In my creative process, I often start with what I have, finding inspiration in the challenge of best using what is in front of me. Once I begin a piece, it tends to evolve into an intentional mediation.

I hope my work evokes any type of an emotional response in the viewer and starts a dialogue. I aspire to leave an impression.
